The Lophelia Pertusa does not have a cardiovascular system just like every other organism in the Cnidaria phylum. However, it does survive a different way. It has a gastrovascular cavity, due to this, the anus and the mouth are ironically both the same. The nutrients from nearby water go in the cavity and go through the coral. In addition, fish have a form of relationship where it would help the coral in the circulation of nearby useful nutrients. In addition, the coral also has a cell called cnidocyte that aids in circulation since it helps food get digested.
